Code of Conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, and abuse are not tolerated at GDGHacks events or in event-related online spaces.
GDGHacks is built for inclusion. Everyone deserves a safe, welcoming environment regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, religion, economic background, or veteran status.
Harassment can include offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, non-consensual photography or recording, sustained disruption, unwanted physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, sexual or violent imagery, and other behavior that makes people feel unsafe.
Sexualized content or behavior is not appropriate in projects, demos, venue spaces, or participant interactions. If someone asks you to stop a behavior, you are expected to stop immediately.
Participants must stay within the official event venue areas provided by organizers. Entering campus buildings, rooms, or spaces that are not explicitly designated for the event is not allowed.
This policy applies to all attendees, organizers, volunteers, mentors, judges, and sponsors. Violations may result in action up to removal from the event.
