General
Any university student enthusiastically learning can attend! All experience levels are genuinely welcome.
It's 100% free! We provide catered food, cool swag, and high-speed internet. All you need to do is show up.
We strongly encourage coming in-person for the absolute best experience with sponsors and other hackers.
Due to university venue restrictions, attendees must be 18+ and enrolled in a degree-granting institution.
Yes, our venue is fully ADA-compliant with wheelchair ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms.
Registration
Applications close April 24th at 11:59 PM EST. Apply early before spots fill up!
No problem at all! We have dedicated team formation events right at the start to ensure everyone has a crew.
You can hack solo or form a team of up to 4 people. Most hackers work in pairs or groups of 3-4.
No, everybody applies individually! You can specify your teammates in the application if you already know them, or form a team on the day of.
We review applications on a rolling basis, so you can expect an email within a week of applying.
Hacking
Perfect! Hackathons are the best place to learn. We have workshops, mentors, and beginner-focused tracks designed specifically for you.
No, all projects must be entirely built during the hacking period to keep it fair for everyone.
Anything! You can build software, hardware, a website, an app, or an AI tool. We will have multiple tracks and prizes to fit your project.
Absolutely! We have a dedicated team of industry mentors floating round the clock to help you debug and brainstorm.
Logistics
Bring your laptop, charger, a valid student ID, and lots of energy! Sleeping bags and toiletries are optional for the overnight stay.
Yes! Food will be provided at the event.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide travel reimbursements this year, but we encourage carpooling with other hackers from your area.
